Throughout my career I have earned different recognitions. The most recent are:
- MarCom Gold Award for Summer 2015 issue of Dentistry Magazine (2015)
- Imhotep Award. This is the highest honor UTHSC students can bestow on a staff member. It is only given in years when the students believe someone merits the distinction. The award is given to a staff member for going above or beyond in providing students with an additional voice to make changes and assisting them throughout the year. (2015)
- Hermes Gold Award for Fall 2014 issue of Pharmacy Magazine (2015)
- MarCom Gold Award for Winter 2014 issue of Dentistry Magazine (2014)
- DSCC Alumni Association Distinguished Service Award (2012)
